It is a widely held belief that Cajun singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter, 33, hired a surrogate to deliver her and rapper Jay Z‘s adorable daughter, Blue Ivy, 2.
Another surrogate mother was commissioned to carry a baby girl for former ‘The View’ host Sherri Shepherd, 47, and her now-estranged husband Lamar Sally. It can be argued that both narcissistic women hired surrogates for entirely selfish reasons. Beyonce because she wanted a carbon copy of herself, and Sherri because she wanted an infant to complete the perfect image of matrimony.
But unlike Beyonce, who apparently cherishes the ground Blue Ivy walks on, Shepherd chose to turn her back and walk away from her baby who was delivered by surrogate in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
Shepherd does not want custody of the newborn — nor does she want financial responsibility for a child she requisitioned.
It takes a cold hearted woman to walk away from a child simply because her arranged marriage didn’t work out.
Both women are narcissists who hired surrogates for selfish reasons. So why did their stories turn out so differently?
The answer is simple: Love.

So she GAVE HIM what he WANTED: a divorce and freedom with HIS child. NOW he wants HER to pay child support.
The baby is not HERS. So that’s why HE filed in California, a state he DOES NOT LIVE IN. Why? Because Jersey, where THEY BOTH live, has lawas that states that Sherri is NOT legally responsibly nor FINANCIALLY responsible for the baby.
The baby IS NOT biologically hers. If they were still married, she would have had to fomally adopt the baby through Jersey’s courts.

@jenie With my son I had an emergency c-section. So this time my doctor said my chances of a regular birth was low. (I had some other stuff factored in) But the recovery was not that bad for me. It was long though.

In New Jersey where they live, she does not. She is not the legal mother until she would have gone to court to legally adopt the baby. Because no legal adoption has or will take place, in Jersey she is not responsible financially for the baby.

I think a big part of the mac truck versus the dumpster truck is that they both put theur trust in things that are subject to change. Like Man said, i believe that a person should be able to independently take care of a baby, because it may come a point in time where you have to take care of the baby by yourself.
You can’t put all your eggs in one basket and depend on a cash cow, or a cash mack truck, in Sherri’s case. That being said, i hope it works out for all parties involved and my sentiments to that innocent child.
