First Photo of Ray and Janay Rice After Baltimore Ravens Terminated His Contract

A quick thinking paparazzi apparently ordered flowers to be delivered to the Baltimore home of former NFL player Ray Rice on Tuesday. The photog snapped shots of the embattled couple as they answered the door to accept the flowers.

The exclusive photos were published in today’s NY Post.

Janay Rice, 26, came to the door looking disheveled and fretful, while Ray Rice, 27, looked agitated and appeared to be yelling at the delivery men.

In a social media post on Monday, Janay blamed the media and public opinion for her husband’s problems.

Ray Rice was terminated by the Baltimore Ravens after shocking video footage surfaced of him knocking out his wife in the elevator at a now shuttered Atlantic City casino. Video footage released earlier by gossip tabloid TMZ showed Rice dragging his unconscious wife out of the elevator.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell claims he never saw the new video footage before suspending Rice for just 2 games. But a NJ cop told ESPN he sent the new video footage to a NFL executive in April.

In related news, champion boxer and convicted wife beater Floyd Mayweather defended Ray Rice, saying the NFL should have honored Rice’s 2-game suspension.

I watched my mom get abused for years. Until She wanted to leave nothing nobody did or said mattered. Outside looking in she seems crazy etc but what’s going on in her mind and heart that is leading her to believe that this was acceptable? I think people get wrapped up so tight in other folk that they lose themselves and illogical things start to seem logical. New witnesses in the Mike Brown case. Two contract workers were nearby when the shooting happened. Someone secretly recorded them right after the shooting saying that “He had his fukking hands in the air”

They were contractors doing construction work in Ferguson, Missouri, on the day Michael Brown was killed. And the men, who asked not to be identified after CNN contacted them, said they were about 50 feet away from Officer Darren Wilson when he opened fire. An exclusive cell phone video captures their reactions during the moments just after the shooting.

“He had his f**n hands up,” one of the men says in the video.
The man told CNN he heard one gunshot, then another shot about 30 seconds later. “The cop didn’t say get on the ground. He just kept shooting,” the man said. That same witness described the gruesome scene, saying he saw Brown’s “brains come out of his head,” again stating, “his hands were up.”
The video shows the man raising his arms in the air — just as, he says, Brown was doing when he was shot.

The other contractor told CNN he saw Brown running away from a police car.

I know I’m late, but I totally agree with your post. My supervisor was easedropping on me and asked me why I say they and the company when referring the company. I gave her the look of death and she keep it moving. I know that I am not nothing but an replaceable pawn, and if a company wants to get rid of your as-s they will not think twice letting you go. That we are a family or team is bull. And as for sport teams I always felt that they are ran like plantations.

Adding my disclaimer: I do not condone violence against woman by men at all.

But for healthy debate: I know the NFL (and most professional teams) have a Conduct policy in their contracts, but putting that aside: If Ray had a regular job and beat his woman and was arrested and no charges filed…would his job had fired him?? I think not…unless he missed days out of work while he was getting up the bail money.

This is my only issue with the NFL suspending Ray indefinitely. I think he should receive punishment, even more so than the 2 games and $700K fine, but to lose the job altogether…I don’t see it.

Again, before ya’ll drag me out to berate me over the coals for not jumping on the bandwagon of crucifying him at the stake. I’ve been in a domestic altercation (say that because I was slapped and I fought like my life depended on it and left (never looked back).
