Shonda Rhimes

Shonda Rhimes responded bitterly to a Twitter user who complained about offensive sex scenes in her hit TV shows.

The most vocal complaints from viewers came after Rhimes inserted 2 gay sex scenes into Thursday’s episode of ABC’s legal drama How To Get Away With Murder, starring Oscar nominee Viola Davis.

Rhimes lashed out at one Twitter user who was new to Rhimes’ obsession with gay sex.

From Zap2it:

“The gay scenes in “Scandal’ and ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ are too much,” the user writes. “There is no point and they add nothing to the plot.”

Like only Shonda can, she fired back a trio of tweets. “There are no GAY scenes. There are scenes with people in them,” she replies. “If you are suddenly discovering that Shondaland shows have scenes involving people who are gay, you are LATE TO THE PARTY. If u use the phrase ‘gay scenes,’ u are not only LATE to the party but also NOT INVITED to the party. Bye Felicia. #oneLOVE”

That last jab she threw illustrates what the NY Times writer meant when she called Rhimes “an angry black woman.” A woman in her lofty position should have a little bit more class.

Rhimes obviously has issues that goes beyond her obsession with being a self-appointed defender of gay rights. Maybe an anger management class would be beneficial in helping Rhimes to release her sexual tension and back slowly out of the closet?

Thanks to @NeoSoulRocStr for the tip.
