Harlem socialite Azealia Banks and her family bought up as many copies of her new album as they could afford. But she still failed to crack the top 20 on the Billboard charts this week. Her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, barely sold 11,000 copies — a dismal failure in anyone’s book.
Banks spends most of her free time beefing with bloggers and fans on Twitter.com. She barely had time to promote her new album — not that it would have mattered.
Banks is not a household name and radio does not play her music. With her stank attitude, it’s a wonder she’s still relevant.
