17-year-old Ricardo Javid Lugo allegedly posed as a 12-year-old and enrolled into the 5th grade to solicit children, the NY Daily News reports.
Police say a 28-year-old man, Randy Ray Wesson, accompanied Lugo to Hurst Hills Elementary School and posed as his father to enroll him.
Lugo, posing as a 12-year-old, allegedly solicited young classmates to engage in child p0rn for Wesson.
Acting on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Lugo and Wesson were arrested on child p0rnography charges. Wesson also admitted molesting over 100 children between the ages of 7 to 14 years of age,” WFAA reports.
Wesson told police he had over 42,000 child p0rn images on his computer and phone.
From NY Daily News:
Wesson is accused of forging paperwork and pretending to be Lugo’s father to help sign him up to the school in the summer.
According to an arrest affidavit, Wesson admitted to having a sickening 42,000 child pornography images stored on his computer and various media storage devices.
Cops were tipped off about the alleged scam by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and raided the Fort Worth home the pair shared earlier this week.
They seized what officers described as a “large amount of evidence of child pornography and exploitation of children.”
