Celebrities of every stripe will converge on Las Vegas, Nevada for the much-hyped prize fight between boxing champs Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquaio on May 2. But one star who won’t be in attendance is Floyd’s former friend, Tameka “Tiny” Harris.
From gossip tabloid TMZ:
If you recall, T.I. and Floyd had a run-in with Floyd at a Fatburger in Las Vegas last year. T.I. was not happy that Floyd was lavishing attention and gifts on his wife.
But T.I. and Floyd smoothed things over and they remain friends.
T.I.’s wife Tameka Harris obviously knows when to leave well enough alone … telling TMZ SPORTS there’s not a chance in hell she’ll be in Vegas for the huge Mayweather/Pacquaio fight on May 2.
You might remember … T.I. ran up on Mayweather at a Las Vegas Fatburger last year and a gigantic fracas ensued. Floyd claimed the
dust up happened because T.I. thought he was banging Tiny.Well it’s clear that Tiny wants no part in a rematch between the two men ’cause when we got her out at LAX recently and asked if she’ll be attending the mega fight … she couldn’t have been more clear.
“We won’t be there.”
Notice she said “we” won’t be there — meaning she and her man. Tiny understands that her place is with her man, not running around with other men trying to make her man jealous.
But Tiny’s absence won’t stop her bestie, Shekinah Jo, from being there on fight night.
Friends say Shekinah (and others in Tiny’s camp) constantly Forget who brought them to the dance. The friends whisper that Shekinah embarrasses herself by constantly calling male celebrities who wouldn’t give her the time of day if it wasn’t for T.I. and Tiny introducing them.
But that’s all I will say because I like Shekinah.
