E! Network released a new trailer for Bruce Jenner’s upcoming reality TV series — and it’s not a good look.
In the opening scene, the 65-year-old cross-dresser is seen applying makeup at his house overlooking scenic Malibu beach.
“You go through all this stuff, and you start learning the pressure that women are under all the time about their appearance,” says Jenner, as he applies lipstick in a mirror.
He adds: “How many people go through and just waste an entire life because they never deal with themselves, to be who they are?”
Jenner explains that a professional makeup artist came to his home and taught him how to apply makeup.
“What a difference,” he says.
The next scene shows Jenner driving E!’s producers around his property in a sport utility vehicle.
Jenner indicates that the excursion is his first time outside in weeks.
“We’re out into the world! It’s so bright out there!” he says.
“Isn’t it great that maybe someday you’ll be normal?” says Jenner.
A woman is heard reassuring Jenner; “You ARE normal,” she lies.
“Just blend into society…” he muses.
“You are normal,” the woman repeats.
Jenner pauses, then says, “Put it this way… I’m the NEW normal.”
