One week after Tyrese promoted his new album, Black Rose, by singing on a subway train, R&B Diva Brandy Norwood decided to give it a try.
In both cases, no one seemed to recognize the 2 superstars. I blame the celebrities for not knowing their audience. Especially in Brandy’s case.
But in Brandy’s defense, her vocals require a certain finesse in a recording studio to capture her very recognizable lower register.
As great as Brandy is, she’s no match for a noisy NY subway train
Even panhandlers have to shout “ESCUSE ME! MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE!” to be heard over the train’s loud staccato rhythm when they beg for pocket change.
