Season 2 of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood is shaping up to be controversial.
As you probably know, one of the cast members on season 1 of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood was reportedly born a male. So why would anyone on the set show hate toward a new cast member who is openly gay?
Gay rapper Milan Christopher, 29, will join regular cast members Ray J, Fizz, Omarion, Teairra Mari, Moniece Slaughter, Hazel E and washed up rapper Soulja Boy.
Milan, who is related to Motown legend Berry Gordy by marriage, announced his new gig on social media:
It’s been a long emotional year but I am please to announced that I am now part of the @vh1 @Lovehiphopvh1 @loveandhiphopofficial @loveandhiphophollywood family ..And will be revealing my life to the world. Show starts Monday Sept 7 at 8pm central time #TuneIn #LoveYouGuys and thanks for the continued support.
But already there are seeds of discontent being sown by the male cast members who don’t want to be seen as pro-gay like their homies, rappers Tyga and Bow Wow, who reportedly creep with cross-dressers and trannies behind closed doors.
From Hiphollywood.com:
Christopher has also announced that no one else on the cast wants to shoot with him because he’s gay. According to TMZ, Milan has been shooting for three weeks, but claims the majority of the other hip hop stars on the show are shunning him. Milan believes it’s because he’s an out and proud rapper, but sources tell TMZ that it’s actually because he has no real credibility as a rapper and they think he’s only on LHHH as a sideshow. Christopher’s storyline centers around his intimate relationship with another rapper named Miles.
