Sad news. Adrienne Bailon will be returning her engagement ring for a discount or an exchange. Bailon abruptly ended her seven-month engagement to Roc Nation playboy/exec Lenny Santiago.
The couple dated for six years before Bailon pressured him to put a ring on it earlier this year.
Bailon revealed the news of her breakup in an interview with Us Weekly:
“I am, of course, sad that things didn’t go as we planned, but we still remain close friends,” she said. “Six years is a long time to be together, but we had to make the decision to go with our hearts and not be embarrassed or afraid of change. He absolutely helped make me a better person and I will forever cherish the time we shared together.”
Where did things go wrong for Bailon?
Welp, for starters, she flashed her engagement rock on social media in February — knowing one of Lenny’s side pieces would see it and blow up his phone. Grown women don’t play such petty games.
Secondly, she bashed her emotionally unstable ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian for cheating on her. Knowing that their split is what sent him spiraling down the drain of despair. Poor Rob hasn’t been right since.
Rob’s devoted sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, didn’t take kindly to Bailon punking their brother.
“So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever… Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian,” they both tweeted.
