Cleveland Cavaliers star guard Kyrie Irving is accepting his responsibility as father to a Texas woman’s baby. Former Miss Texas Andrea Wilson, 29, is pregnant, and they both believe Irving, 23, is the father.
Irving apparently has no doubt the child is his. According to court documents, Irving and Wilson knew each other since 2013, but they are currently separated. When they broke up Irving generously gave Wilson a parting gift that keeps on giving.
“As for child support … Irving says he wants to step up and cover everything the child needs — including medical care. But there’s one catch, he wants Wilson to raise the child in Texas … where Wilson and her extended family reside.” Source
In other words, Irving doesn’t want Wilson or her baby to disrupt his bachelor lifestyle in Cleveland.
