No Shame: Video of Shoppers Fighting Over H&M Balmain Clothing in Atlanta

Video has surfaced online of shoppers frantically fighting over Balmain clothing at the H&M store in Atantic Station Thursday morning. The frenzied scene was repeated at H&M stores all over the U.S. and the world when H&M launched the new Balmain ready to wear collection today.

Shoppers and retail stores have video footage of fashion fanatics lined up for days, camping out and standing in line to get their hands on one piece of fabric from the luxury label lol. Everyone got colored wrist bands while they waited for the doors to open at 9am. If you were in a group other than the first crowd called, you had slim pickings! NOTHING was left but earrings and a few bracelets that nobody wanted lol. If they did their research though, you would have known that clothing only went up to size 12, which Im sure was a junior size anyway. Maybe thats why I didn’t really see many curvy gals in the videos or standing in line lol. Trust me, its not going to look the same on the average person anyway because of the way its European cut.

And, I get it – do what you love. That was also the 90’s. And I was the Polo queen in the 90’s, and then defected to DKNY. I had so much DKNY, my nickname was Donna Karan. I still have a few pieces of vintage Polo from back then, along with my Polo bath towels, bears, mugs and other housewares. I still live for Ralph Lauren housewares. They are simply the best. I work in fashion, high end retail, my store sells real balmain. The collection for H&M is all merchandise that was already sketched & designed they just use less expensive materials. All the fashion houses that collaborate w/ low end retailers do this & it becomes a frenzy because regular folks can have the logo in their wardrobe. It’s a lot of teenagers young adults too who don’t really have much responsibility in their lives…although it’s crazy those kids will remember their time spent waiting on line w/ their friends forever.
