Occasionally a mindless trend, such as “planking”, is launched on social media. The “Mannequin Challenge” is perhaps the dumbest trend yet. It basically involves standing stock still while someone records you doing nothing.
Instead of ignoring this latest trend, like most mature adults have done, the Clinton campaign and press pool reporters decided to do the challenge on her campaign jet — on election day, no less.
This was probably the pivotal moment that pushed non-deciding voters over to the Trump camp.
