Rap mogul Tip “T.I.” Harris sparked much needed dialogue on the current condition of black masculinity in America.
“Damn,” Harris wrote in the caption of a video he posted of psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing calling for black men to pull their pants up.
Dr. Welsing suggested the pants sagging trend in prison culture was a signal to gay men.
With 2 weeks left in Barack Obama’s LGBT presidency, black men find themselves fighting a tough battle to reclaim their manhood as more and more men step out of their sagging pants and into dresses.
