An armed security guard interrupted a robbery in progress at a New Jersey 7-Eleven. Two men entered a 7-Eleven in Hamilton, NJ on Thursday night. One of the men hopped the counter and produced what appeared to be a handgun. The armed thug robbed the cashier at gunpoint while the other thug hopped the counter and began to empty the cash drawer.
Just then, an armed guard entered the store firing his revolver from the door. The guard, who was an excellent marksman, shot one of the robbers in the arm. The guard leaned over the counter and appeared to shoot the other robber who screamed the gun was a fake. “Oh well, mine’s real!” said the guard.

Two California parents were arrested after authorities found a dozen children and adults shackled to beds with chains and padlocks in their home, officials said Monday.
Authorities started investigating after a 17-year-old girl managed to escape from the residence on Sunday and called 911. The girl claimed her 12 brothers and sisters were being held captive inside the home by her parents, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
The 13 victims held captive in the home in Perris, California, range in age from 2 to 29, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.

The 7-11 round my way was getting robbed twice a week after midnight. The regular cashier even got pistol whipped during two of those robberies. The owner was just in it for the money and wasn’t concerned about employee or customer safety and was unwilling to hire security at night. My son and I stopped making late night snack runs after that.
Problem got solved though. Customers yanked her coattail when they would see her in the store and let her know she needed to do better and if anything happened to them while they were in her store they were going to sue her because she knew her store was high risk and did nothing about it. She now has security at night and to my knowledge there haven’t been anymore robberies.
Sounds like she was doing that on purpose to get employees out because if they stayed long enuf they might ask for a raise.
