Russell Simmons in the Bahamas with daughter Ming Lee on New Year's Day

Russell Simmons was spotted enjoying a sunny day on the beach in the Bahamas with his daughters, Aoki Lee Simmons, 15, Ming Lee Simmons, 17, and their brother Kenzo Lee Hounsou, 8, on New Year’s Day. The disgraced 60-year-old music industry executive worked up a sweat doing yoga exercises as daughter Ming Lee, pictured right, and a friend looked on.

Aoki and Ming Lee are daughters of New York socialite Kimora Lee Simmons who began dating Russell when she was only 14. Kenzo is Kimora’s son by actor Djimon Hounsou.

At one point, Russell appeared to have a heart-to-heart talk with his youngest daughter, Aoki Lee. Sometimes the youngest kids have the most insight because their hearts are still pure.

After their talk, Russell dispensed cash to Aoki for her great advice.

As you know, Russell stepped down from his business empire after he was accused of rape by 3 high profile women. As many as half a dozen women have accused Russell of misconduct. The father-of-2 vigorously denied the allegations, but the evidence was too overwhelming.

Russell was the chairman and CEO of Rush Communications, which, among other business, included the failed RUSH debit cards. He also co-founded the record label Def Jam Recordings and the clothing lines Phat Farm, Argyleculture, and Tantris.

He was also the brains behind the now defunct, content stealing Global Grind blog, which was sued into oblivion and is now Cassiuslife.com.
