Safaree Samuels stopped by Power 105.1’s syndicated radio show The Breakfast Club on Wednesday after his nudes leaked over the weekend. Youtube users weren’t surprised that co-hosts Charlamagne da god and DJ Envy spent most of the interview joking about Safaree’s genitals.
Now we know why the 37-year-old struggling rapper leaked his own nudes. By coincidence, his single “Hunnid” debuted on Wednesday — the same day as his interview on The Breakfast Club.
Charlamagne even suggested he knew in advance that Safaree would leak his own nudes to promote the song (Safaree shouts out Charlamagne on the track).
In a previous interview, Safaree admitted he didn’t write any of ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj‘s rap lyrics. That was obvious by the nursery rhyme lyrics in “Hunnid” (“I put screws in your head / now you’re named Frankenstein”).
