Zach and Roger Randolph

The brother of Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph was fatally shot outside an Indiana bar early Saturday. The bar burned to the ground a day later.

Police say Roger Randolph, 35, was shot and killed during a verbal altercation that escalated outside of the Hop’s Blues Room in Marion, Indiana, where both brothers grew up.

Police responding to a shots fired call found Roger on the ground between 2 parked cars. He was later pronounced dead.

The bar burned down early Sunday — less than 24 hours after the shooting. Fire investigators suspect arson.

Investigators did not say whether the shooting and the fire are related.

Police have no suspects in the case.
