Shad Moss has come clean about his emotional status after a series of public meltdowns that culminated last week when he destroyed the set of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta last month.
In a series of posts on social media, the 31-year-old rapper-turned-actor, whose stage name is Bow Wow, explained why he trashed the set during the filming of a recent episode.
“Truth – One of our staff members kept tryna get me to do this scene with [Da Brat]. I got tired of waiting (which was fine [Brat] had a lot of folks to hug and so on…) and [I] wanted to walk [girlfriend] Kiyomi to her car.”
Moss went on to explain that a production staffer lied to his girlfriend Kiyomi, and she left the set before he could walk her to her car.
“I was told I couldn’t walk her!” he ranted. “Someone gave her false info knowing it would piss me off which led to me cussing out production [staff].”
Moss said a production member grabbed him by the wrist, like he was a child, which infuriated him even more. One thing led to another, and he went berserk.
Nowhere in his posts did he mention that he now understands he has emotional problems and he is seeking therapy.
But Moss did announce that he was giving up drugs and alcohol as a result of his recent public blow ups.
Do you believe him?
