La La Anthony denies rumors that she is pregnant with her second child by husband Carmelo Anthony. The rumors spread via social media this week after La La confirmed she reunited with her wayward husband.
If you recall, Carmelo, 34, fathered a child with another woman, Mia Burks, which resulted in La La packing her things and leaving him.
La La told Us Weekly she initially blamed herself for Carmelo’s infidelity. Like other women with cheating husbands, La La soon realized that men are genetically predisposed to being sexually attracted to women of childbearing age.
“You can get down on yourself and just be like, ‘Oh, the world’s ending,’ and just, you know, really be hard on yourself, or you can say, ‘I’m not the first and I won’t be the last, this happens to people,’ you know, ups and downs, and you just gotta keep pushing forward. I proved to myself that I can overcome a lot of things that probably would have broken some people.”
La La, 39, sparked baby rumors when she left a comment on an Instagram post by pregnant comedienne Amy Schumer who is experiencing morning sickness.
“I’m with u! Merry Christmas babe,” La La replied to a video that showed Schumer vomiting by the roadside.
La La’s comment fueled speculation that she was pregnant. But a source tells Us Weekly the rumor is not true.
La La seemed to address the rumors by posting a photo of a bottle of hard liquor on her Instagram page. She captioned the image: “On this today.”
