Chris Brown was taken into custody Monday in Paris, France, and charged with raping a 24-year-old woman, according to the Daily Mail UK. The 29-year-old pop singer is accused of sexually assaulting the woman at a Paris hotel after partying at a nightclub in the French capital.

Two other people – including his bodyguard – were also taken into custody according to the Mail.

Brown allegedly met the woman at a nightclub near the Champs-Elysees and took her back to the Mandarin Oriental, where he allegedly attacked her.

Backgrid.com published photos of Brown partying with his rumored girlfriend, Ammika Harris, at the same nightclub.

The woman accused Brown of lacing her drink and attacking her in his hotel room during the incident on Jan. 15.

A prosecutor told the paper that Brown, his bodyguard and another man are undergoing interviews in the 1st arrondissement (police department).

Brown has been seen at various events during Paris Fashion Week.

Brown’s publicists and reps at Sony Music did not immediately respond to the Mail’s request for a comment.

The troubled singer is no stranger to unlawful activity. In 2009 Brown plead guilty to beating singer Rihanna to a bloody pulp. He was sentenced to 5 years probation and community service in his native Virginia. In 2012 he was involved in a nightclub brawl with rapper Drake in New York City. The case was later settled.

In 2016 Brown was arrested and thrown in jail for violating his probation over an assault in Washington D.C. Also in 2016, Brown allegedly attacked model Liziane Gutierrez and stole her cell phone.
