Bun B Shoots Intruder Who Forced His Way Into Rapper’s Houston Home

Legendary rapper Bun B opened fire on an armed masked intruder who forced his way into the rapper’s Houston home on Tuesday.

Bun B, whose real name is Bernard Freeman, was at home with his wife, Angela "Queenie" Walls, when the intruder knocked on the door.

Police say Queenie opened the door and the intruder forced his way inside the home and demanded money and valuables. Bun B, 46, was upstairs when he heard the commotion and ran down.

According to Fox 5 News, Queenie told the intruder to go into the garage and steal her Audi.

Bun B and the suspect exchanged gunfire and the intruder was hit in the left shoulder.

The suspect fell out of Queenie's Audi and fled, dropping his gun in the driveway.

Bun B caught up to the suspect down the street and ripped off his mask. The suspect broke free and ran again.

The suspect showed up at a hospital hours later seeking treatment for his gunshot wound. Police identified him as Demonte Alis Jackson.

Jackson appeared in court Wednesday with his left arm in a sling. He faces charges of aggravated robbery with a weapon and burglary of an occupied residence.

Neither Bun B nor his wife were injured during the home invasion. But Queenie's attorney says she is very upset because the intruder put a gun to her head.

    It depends on the neighborhood, I think. They prob live in a 'good' area and don't normally have problems, so they're comfortable. I don't fault anyone for feeling that they're safe in their own home. Unfortunately, you can't afford to get TOO comfortable, no matter where you live.

    My Ring has a delay and doesn't always notify both of us when someone is approaching the house. We were thinking of switching to a different system. Sometimes it takes a while to connect to the live view feature and sometimes it won't allow me to disarm the alarm until after it goes off. I do really like the in-home motion detectors though.

    Demons, they just trying to take out the greats, the legends. This is all demonic stuff. But obviously either God had mercy on Bun B and or his family is prayed up and or it was just not his time.

    But this should be a wake up call that the devil is seeing some of our blk men as threats and trying to take them out.

    i always have my door open too. mister put that blackout film on the full glass screen door. depending on where the sun is, i could be standing in the doorway looking at you and you'd never know i was there. i can also sit on my sofa and see you from the corner of the bow window, but you won't see me unless you intentionally lean in and try to look in my window (but if you do, please have your health coverage in tact, 'cause i'm gonna scare the living sh*t outta anybody who does that, LOL!)

    LOL! i feel you, but it happens sometimes. i've come home and been mortified to find the garage door open (even though mister hasn't been gone that long AND i have retired neighbors who would notice anything out of the ordinary). but i can tell right away if anything is missing because there's a big flat screen tv just inside the garage entrance so when i see that it's still there, i know nothings missing ('cause there's nothing else of any real value out there, unless you count mister's tools - which i don't, LOL!)

    that does remind me of that time my deddy locked my mama outta the house. he had just cursed out the yt bish across the street for claiming he was blocking her driveway. well after he made it clear to her that he gave no fuggs about her, her car, nor her driveway, he turned to go back across the street and told my mama "c'mon Mable we done talking" ...my mama, being the 'good cop' on the team was still standing there trying to console the yt lady who was clutching her pearls after my deddy had gathered her. so when my mama finally went back across the street, she turned the knob but she couldn't get the door open. why my deddy had locked her out, went upstairs, and laid down!!!!!
