Paula Patton is set to star in BET’s legal thriller ‘Sacrifice’ that will air on its new streaming service BET+, Deadline.com reports. Paula will play Daniella Hernandez, a highly sought after entertainment lawyer who has a knack for protecting her unscrupulous clients.

Daniella employs the services of a resourceful assistant, a young ex-hacker and a tech genius to help her keep her clients’ dirt buried.

The cast also includes ‘Empire’ actors Juan Antonio as hip artist and mogul Dominiq Mayfield aka Big Dom and V. Bozeman as Tamika Bland, Daniella’s loyal and resourceful assistant; Jackson (Treme) as ex-hacker Steven Somwon, and Marques Houston as Jason Pratt a young Assistant District Attorney.

Sacrifice is executive produced, written, and directed by Chris Stokes (former B2K manager). In addition to acting in the movie, Marques Houston (You Got Served, Sister, Sister, Immature/IMx) is also co-executive producer of the film.

Paula, 43, and Robin Thicke divorced in 2014. They share a son Julian Fuego Thicke, 9.
