NeNe Leakes blames Wendy Williams‘ estranged husband Kevin Hunter for sabotaging her talk show.
NeNe and Wendy have been tight as a hand in glove for the past few months. But NeNe believes Wendy’s ex prevented her from landing her own talk show that might compete with Wendy’s show.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is concerned about her immediate future amid rumors that Bravo TV bosses are trying to cut her loose.
At 52, the former stripper knows she is not the ratings draw she once was. She reportedly retained celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom to file an undisclosed lawsuit.
During NeNe’s visit to The Breakfast Club, co-host Charlamagne the God asked NeNe about rumors that she was in talks to host her own talk show similar to her friend Wendy’s popular show.
When asked if Wendy or Kevin blocked the show, NeNe replied, “I think it was her husband.”
She added Kevin was “never nice” to her and he didn’t want her around. She also revealed she didn’t bring up her suspicions with her bestie, Wendy.
It seems NeNe doesn’t want to believe Wendy also had a hand in her talk show’s demise.
