After months of denials, NeNe Leakes finally confirmed that she was let go from the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta after 12 seasons.
But Wendy Williams doesn’t believe NeNe will go quietly. The talk show Diva is convinced NeNe will beg for her job back after the going gets rough.
Wendy, 56, resumed her talk show on Monday, and discussed NeNe’s departure from RHOA.
“It’s a money thing,” said Wendy, who has an on-again-off-again friendship with NeNe, 52. Wendy is convinced NeNe is simply holding out for more money.
“She said she can’t do it. She knows what she’s worth and she can’t be there. There’s not enough filming time for her to make sense and there’s not enough money in it for her to make sense.”
Wendy said NeNe is too desperate for attention to stay away for long.
“NeNe will always be the queen bee and I don’t believe she won’t be back. I think she likes a lot of attention and I think Bravo likes to boil the pot and bring them back.”
Wendy said she texted former RHOA executive producer Andy Cohen, and “he texted back and said [there will be] ‘a lot of surprises this season.'”
“In conclusion, I don’t believe anything about the NeNe thing,” Wendy said.
