Feven Kay Kiflegiorgis, a news anchor for Fox 5 Las Vegas, was found naked and passed out behind the wheel of a car last month.

The Fox 5 Las Vegas morning weekday anchor made news headlines herself when she was found passed out behind the wheel of her Audi at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Kiflegiorgis, known professionally as Feven Kay, told cops she couldn’t remember how she got to the location where she was found.

The officer states the nude driver smelt of alcohol and she seemed disoriented. Kiflegiorgis declined to submit to a blood alcohol test, according to the police report.

Kiflegiorgis, a native of East Africa, was charged with misdemeanor reckless driving with a disregard for the safety of a person or property.

Kiflegiorgis appeared in court on April 21 and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and to attend driving school, according to the NY Post.

Kiflegiorgis took a leave of absence before returning to the news desk. She told viewers the incident was a “private matter,” but she wanted to be “transparent.”

“Many of you noticed I’ve been off air for a few weeks,” Kiflegiorgis said. “To all of you who have reached out, a sincere thank you for your concern.

“Last month, I was arrested by Metro for driving under the influence,” she sighed. “At the time of the arrest, I was inside of a parking vehicle in a Las Vegas neighborhood alone. That charge has since been reduced to misdemeanor reckless driving for which I will pay fine and take classes.

“As I move forward, I want you to know I have learned from this and I will continue learning and I truly thank you for your support,” she said.
