Nicki Minaj shelved her rap career to be a stay-at-home mom to her first child, 8-month-old “Papa Bear” Petty. The 38-year-old rapper stays connected to her fanbase through videos on social media and releasing occasional new music.
In a new Instagram video, Nicki holds up her son as he takes his first steps. The tyke, whose name has not been revealed, puts his best foot forward, as Nicki says, “You ain’t trying to do all of that today? Everyone bothering you. You had it?”
Then, speaking in her son’s voice, Nicki says, “Mama I had it, leave me alone already, please! Ain’t nobody got time for all of that, mama.”
Little Papa Bear was dressed in Burberry from head to toe. He accessorized his stylish outfit with a diamond-encrusted “Papa Bear” pendant and a tiny matching bracelet.
Nicki and husband Kenny Petty, 43, welcomed their first child together in September 2020.
