The View co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro were asked to leave the set after both tested positive for Covid-19.

Hostin and Navarro were escorted off camera by ABC Studio security after leaving the set.

The embarrassing incident occurred live on the air on Friday, Sept. 24, just seconds before welcoming Vice President Kamala Harris onstage for an interview.

Reportedly, the co-hosts were asked to leave by Secret Service agents.

The View‘s hosts are all fully vaccinated, but they can still contract and spread the virus to others.

“Ana and Sunny have to leave,” Joy Behar told the national TV audience. “And we’ll tell you why in a couple minutes.

“Shall I introduce the vice-president?” she asked a producer. “Okay, vice-president — no? Okay, shall we dance? Let’s do a tap dance. Since this is gonna be a major news story any minute now.”

After the break, Behar explained why Hostin and Navarro were booted off the set — because they tested positive for Covid.

“No matter how hard we try, these things happen. They probably have a breakthrough case, and they’ll be okay, I’m sure, because they’re both vaccinated up the wazoo, you know, a lot of vaccines.”
