The Biebers sparked rumors that Hailey was pregnant after Justin placed his hand over her midsection during the Met Gala.
Dozens of paparazzi captured the moment– but Justin only held his hand on Hailey’s tummy for a split second.
Still, that split second appeared to all the world that a Bieber baby was on the way.
Millions of Bieber fans rejoiced on social media into the night and early Tuesday morning.
However, sources close to the couple tell TMZ that Hailey’s uterus is vacant, and it was just an innocent pose.
The couple’s appearance at the star-studded ball was a first for them, and it served a dual purpose — they were also there celebrating their wedding anniversary.
TMZ broke the story, Justin and Hailey exchanged their vows at a civil ceremony at a courthouse in 2018, and they had a blowout wedding for friends and family in South Carolina in 2019.
The Met Gala was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
