Kodak Black reacted to a viral story about a 61-year-old Florida man marrying his 18-year-old goddaughter.
Michael Haugabook was criticized on social media for waiting until his goddaughter, Deja, turned 18 before marrying her.

Haugabook knew Deja since she was a baby and the couple reportedly dated since 2016.
The story went viral after the wedding photos surfaced on social media. They were married on Sept. 4, 2021 in St. Lucie County, Florida.
Kodak weighed in on the controversy, saying his father also ran off with his goddaughter.
“SMH my daddy did this same sh*t. Left us to start another family with his goddaughter. I was about 9 but I ain’t judging nobody tho, to each’s own. It could b true love.”
Many accused Haugabook of grooming Deja to be his wife despite having a previous relationship with her mother.
Michael and Deja Haugabook have dismissed the criticism as jealousy. Deja claims she is fully grown at 18 and working full-time while caring for the couple’s four children.
The children are reportedly from Michael’s previous relationships.
