WWE wrestler David Otunga is auctioning off an engagement ring which was designed for his then-fiancee, actress/signer Jennifer Hudson.

The 5-carat rock was designed by Neil Lane back in 2008 for $45,000, TMZ reports.

Jennifer gave back the ring when they broke up in 2017. It is tradition in America to return an engagement ring if the wedding falls through – so the partner who purchased the ring can get a refund.

According to TMZ, David has teamed with IDoNowIDont.com to auction off the ring to the highest bidder. David plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to a fathers’ rights org.

Jennifer and David share a 12-year-old son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., who lives with his father.

Jennifer is best known for her film debut as Effie White in the musical Dreamgirls (2006), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

She also won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album for her self-titled debut studio album in 2008, which was certified gold by the RIAA.
