Nick Cannon’s syndicated daytime talk show has been canceled after just six months on the air. “The Nick Cannon Show” suffered poor ratings and drew just 400,000 viewers in its time slot.
According to Page Six, Nick’s staffers learned of their job status on Thursday morning. Production was shut down at the end of the day Wednesday, according to The Wrap.
Nick’s show, which followed the now-canceled “The Wendy Williams Show,” will be replaced by Fox TV’s “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” multiple sources confirmed to The Sun.
“The Wendy Williams Show,” was replaced by Sherri Shepherd’s new talk show, Sherri.
The Nick Cannon Show‘s launch was delayed for one year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 41-year-old television mogul still has multiple streams of revenue flowing in. He currently hosts “The Masked Singer” on FOX, and he recently opened the doors to The Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar and Arcade in San Diego.
Nick has multiple mouths to feed, including his six children and their mothers. A seventh child, Zen, born to model Alyssa Scott, passed away from brain cancer in December.
Meanwhile, Nick’s 5th baby mama, model Bre Tiesi, was spotted baring her growing baby bump during a workout session with Celebrity Trainer Mario Guevara at the PHLEXX gym in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 6.
Bre is the ex-wife of former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel. They finalized their divorce in November. Bre and Nick threw a big gender reveal party in Malibu, California in January.
