Deshaun Watson and his girlfriend Jilly Anais stepped out to dinner at Giorgio Baldi on Saturday, as the NFL concluded its investigation into sex assault allegations.
Jilly is standing by her man despite the confirmed allegations against him.
As you know, nearly 2 dozen massage therapists accused the Cleveland Browns star of sexual misconduct. He faces 22 civil lawsuits filed by his accusers.
During one deposition, Watson admitted making a massage therapist cry after he exposed himself to her. He also confessed that he had consensual sex with three massage therapists.
The victims have been interviewed by NFL investigators. According to reports, the NFL is prepared to make a determination based on the evidence.
A number of sports analysts agree a suspension is likely. The question is how many games will he be suspended.
Some observers speculate his suspension could range from one game to 12 games. There are 17 games in a regular NFL season.
After a grand jury declined to indict Watson on sex assault charges, he signed a $230 million contract with the Browns. Some Browns fans canceled their season tickets as a result.
Meanwhile, Houston Texans coach Lovie Smith says he made the right decision to cut Watson loose after he requested a trade in 2021.
“You know, sometimes divorce is good,” Smith told Cris Collinsworth on a podcast. “Again, I don’t know what all happened, the accusations are there. If they have merit, that will all come out in time, but for our football team, we needed to move on.”
