A college student was arrested in the June 9 shooting death of California drill rapper MoneyGang Vontae in a Bronx pharmacy.

River Jones, 18, was taken into custody by investigators Wednesday at his dorm building on the Monroe College campus in New Rochelle in Westchester County.

Jones is charged with murder in the brutal shooting death of 27-year-old MoneyGang Vontae, real name Avanti Frowner.

Police believe Jones was the triggerman. He is pictured above right in a surveillance photo.

Jones was one of four suspects who allegedly beat and robbed Vontae of cash and his signature gold chain with its distinctive custom nameplate spelled out in diamond chips.

The armed robbery occurred before 2 p.m. at the Amazing Community Pharmacy on E. Tremont Avenue in the Bronx, New York.

Chilling surveillance footage from inside the pharmacy shows the moment Jones marched a nearly shirtless Vontae to the back of the pharmacy before shooting him four times.

The NYPD released images of the suspects to the public. The other suspects are still at large.

“They don’t need to be on the streets no more — ever!” Avanti’s dad, Roger Frowner, 56, told The NY Post. “If they kill somebody in broad daylight, inside of a store, they are treacherous.”
