A security guard for Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles says he may have been the last person rapper PnB Rock saw before he died.

Police say PnB Rock was shot during an armed robbery while eating lunch with his girlfriend at the restaurant on Main and W. Manchester Avenue in South Central L.A. around 1:20 p.m. Monday.

Police say the 30-year-old rapper was shot multiple times by a gunman who demanded his jewelry.

A writer for the Rolling Stone magazine spoke with a security guard who is seen in a gruesome cell phone video rendering first aid to Rock after the shooting.

The security guard said he took Rock’s girlfriend’s phone to call 911 because she was too hysterical to make the call.

“She was screaming and didn’t know what to do,” he said. “The robbery happened fast. They took some items. He had multiple chains on.”

The security guard said he urged the Philadelphia rapper to control his apparent cheyne-stokes breathing.

“I was telling him, ‘Be calm, be calm, get control of your breathing,” he said. “And then his breathing declined. It went all the way down. I think he was gone. He was just gone.”

The security guard said he did not get a good look at the suspects.

“It was a blur. I had my glasses off. God put me in a position to not see shit.”

Meanwhile, Rock’s girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang deleted her Instagram page amid accusations that she caused his death by dropping his location in an Instagram post.
