“The View” co-hosts got in a heated discussion over President Joe Biden calling for a congresswoman who died in a car accident last month.

The incident happened during a White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health on Sept. 28.

Biden, 79, asked, “Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? I think she wasn’t going to be here – to help make this a reality.”

Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski was killed in a car crash on August 3. Two of her staffers and the driver of the other car were also killed.

Walorski’s brother told The NY Post that the family received a “heartfelt” phone call from Biden after she died.

“The View” co-hosts pleaded for a better understanding of Biden’s “mistake.” They suggested that Biden simply forgot that the congresswoman was dead.

Co-host Sunny Hostin said the criticism and mockery of Biden was “ageist”.

“You know, I think what it really shows is that this country is so ageist,” she said. “This country has a problem with age. You know, you go to other countries and our elders are revered. They’re revered because of the knowledge that they have acquired. And this is a man who has worked in government his entire life. This is a man who probably had a relationship with this woman. And yes, she probably was top of mind!”

Joy Behar slammed the Republican party for being too quick to call out Biden’s many gaffes. “I mean, they have weaponized the gaffes, they’ve said that he’s senile,” she said.
