A Canadian teacher who went viral for wearing size Z prosthetic breasts to class has been placed on paid leave.

Kayla Lemieux, who identifies as a male-female-transgender, initially told the school board his condition was caused by gigantomastia,” or excessive breast tissue growth.

The school board told angry parents that the prosthetic breasts are part of the gender transition process. The Oakville Trafalgar High School shop teacher also wore a blond wig and a miniskirt to class.

Lemieux’s luck ran out when neighbors told a reporter he dresses as a man outside of the high school.

The NY Post published photos of Lemieux dressed casually, wearing a grey shirt, jeans and a down vest while out and about near his apartment in Ontario. Lemieux was not wearing prosthetic breasts, makeup or a wig.

Following the backlash from parents, the Halton School District confirmed that Lemieux was placed on paid leave Tuesday.

“While not currently on an active assignment, the teacher remains employed with the (Halton District School Board),” spokesperson Heather Francey told the Toronto Sun.

Critics slammed the school board for “failing to put the interests and safety of students first,” according to the Sun.

Parents have complained for months about Lemieux displaying his fetish in the classroom around students.

However, the school board defended Lemieux, saying criticism of Lemieux was considered discrimination under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
