Eva Marcille, formerly Eva Pigford, is back on the market after filing for divorce from her husband of 5 years, Michael Sterling.
According to a confidential source, Eva, 38, filed for divorce from the father of two of her 3 children.
Eva filed for divorce on March 23 in the Superior Court of Fulton County. The documents state that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”
The reformed lesbian was the winner of the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model in 2004. She beat fellow contestant Yaya DaCosta for the title.
The 5-foot-7 model signed with managers Benny Medina and Tyra Banks who secured modeling contracts for her with L.A. Models and Ford Models.
She has appeared on the cover of Brides Noir, Women’s Health and Fitness (May 2005), King (June 2005), Rolling Out, and Essence magazine.
After dumping her lesbian lover in 2005, Eva began dating aspiring actor Lance Gross. The couple became engaged on December 24, 2008 and split up in March 2010. She reportedly dated rapper Flo Rida from 2010 to 2012 and Kevin McCall in 2013. She has a daughter with McCall.
Eva married Atlanta-based attorney and aspiring politician Michael Sterling on October 7, 2018. The couple share two sons, Michael Todd Sterling Jr., born in April 2018 and Maverick, born in September 2019.
