Last month, a Twitter user created artificial intelligence images of former President Donald Trump in police custody. The images went viral and many people believed the photos were real.
Now an Instagram user named Christian Smooth has created AI images of celebrities and notables working normal jobs.
Smooth envisioned disgraced actor Will Smith working behind a counter at a fast food restaurant, and pop superstar Lizzo working for minimum wage at Target.
Media mogul Oprah Winfrey dons a uniform for her shift at a Foot Locker store, while former first lady Michelle Obama hawks hotdogs on the street (top photo).
Kim Kardashian is an operating room scrub nurse; Elon Musk ekes out a meager living in a mobile home; while TV mogul 50 Cent sells cars at a dealership.
Smooth also depicts boxers Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson as a rapper and Winnie the Pooh.
While most of the AI depictions are dead on, Muhammad Ali’s AI image falls short. The image doesn’t look like Ali. And what rapper dresses like that?
AI is not perfect. Like most humans, AI has difficulty rendering hands and legs in real time. That’s because most human beings can’t draw hands and fingers realistically. So it’s near impossible to program artificial intelligence to render hands perfectly without some distortion.
