Jada Pinkett Smith’s long-running web series Red Table Talk has been canceled by Facebook/Meta.

The popular Facebook Watch series was co-hosted by Jada, her daughter Willow Smith and Jada’s mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

Facebook/Meta is shutting down its Facebook Watch original programs to save money. Red Table Talk was the last show to be canceled, according to Variety.

The Daytime Emmy-winning series was canceled after Jada’s husband Will Smith, Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore and Jordyn Woods appeared on the last episode.

Facebook is experiencing cash flow problems due to the massive failure of the Metaverse.

11,000 Meta employees were laid off in November. The company announced another 10,000 workers will be let go by the end of the year.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg lost $4 billion on his Metaverse, a virtual world which he hoped would be the new social media where billions of people gathered to socialize, play, and work.

Zuckerberg denies reports that he abandoned the Metaverse to focus on artificial intelligence (AI).

“We’ve been focusing on both AI and the Metaverse for years now, and we will continue to focus on both,” he told investors on Wednesday.
