Drake sparked an uproar on Black Twitter by painting his fingernails in vibrant colors of the rainbow. Drake’s LGBT+ fans say he painted his nails to celebrate the start of Pride Month in America.
Drake and effeminate fellow rapper Lil Yachty teamed up to promote Stake online casino this weekend.
The Canadian rapper is seen showing off his blue and yellow nail art in a livestream video posted on Stake’s Instagram page on Saturday.
The rapper also wore a throwback State Property shirt. The apparel line was originally launched by retired rapper Beanie Sigel in 2003.
Drake’s fans aren’t feeling his nail art.
One follower wrote: “The princess of rap is serving.”
Another person tweeted: “Happy pride month from Drake to y’all.”
Lil Yachty is also known to paint his nails bright red to match his hair extensions and beads. He even has his own line of nail polish called Crete, according to XXL.
An Instagram follower wrote: “[Lil] Yachty got Drake painting his nails. Hate to see it.”
