Jemele Hill is out of a job again. The chronically unemployed sportscaster left Spotify and is looking for a new home for her “Unbothered” podcast network.

According to reports, Hill demanded Spotify pay her $100 million, similar to the $200 million they’re paying podcaster Joe Rogan.

However, Hill denied the report in a tweet on Friday:

“A lot of what’s been reported just isn’t true. My podcast hasn’t been cancelled. I never asked Spotify for $100M. This sh-t is truly comical.”

In a response to a critic, Hill tweeted that she left Spotify for “investment and growth.”

“I never told Spotify or the NYT, that I deserved $100M. My deal at Spotify is pretty fair. This was about investment and growth.”

Hill’s podcast network employed other Black podcasters who are now out of work.

Hill, who started at ESPN in 2006, was let go by the network in 2018 after a series of infractions, including tweeting that President Trump was a “white supremacist.”

That same year she took a gig as a contributing writer for The Atlantic.

From August 2020 to February 2021, she co-hosted Vice’s “Cari & Jemele Stick to Sports” alongside Cari Champion.
