Update: Shaquille O’Neal is catching heat for sliding in the DMs of much younger women on social media.

Ex-Home Depot employee Ariana Josephine went viral after she posted a bathroom Selfie from her job and complained that people thought she was “too pretty” to work there.

“The one job I work at that I get reminded I’m too pretty to work at,” she said, according to EURweb.com.

Among the men lusting after her was NBA legend, Shaq, who slid into her DMs to offer words of encouragement and to possibly ask for her number.

Ariana, who was raised in a Christian household, politely rejected Shaq’s advances. Clearly she doesn’t have daddy issues.

Ariana Josephine recently shared an update, saying she’s being harassed by haters on Twitter.

“God is really testing my life right now and just testing my faith and trying to keep my patience in him and just trust that there’s a bigger thing coming out of all this,” she said.

Ariana added:

“Since I blew up on the internet, I have had so much backlash, good and bad. It’s been a lot of good, but you also have that percentage of bad. Everybody on Twitter hates me. For what? I don’t know. I literally don’t know, just because I stood up for myself, and that’s fine.”

She continued:

“I literally had to kind of quit my job in this process because of how much I grew and how many people actually seen this and people were illegally doxing my address and also figuring out where I worked because I did have my school, my bio, also my location on Twitter and Home Depot. So if you put math together, people started figuring stuff out.”

Shaq, 51, is experiencing a midlife crisis. A midlife crisis occurs at a certain age (usually over 40) when men realize women of childbearing age are no longer interested in them.

Shaq went to Home Depot in search of Ariana. While there, he recorded a rap freestyle and purchased a washer and dryer set for a migrant family.

Now more young women have come forward to say the Lakers icon also messaged them on social media.

On June 14, he reached out to an aspiring New Orleans rapper named Treety.

Referring to her new single, “Making Love,” he told her “That song go hard baby keep that s**t going.”

Fans in the comments mocked Shaq for chasing after much younger women at his age.

One commenter wrote, “Shaq be in everybody dms. He just be motivating the girls.”

Treety responded to people accusing her of posting a screencap of Shaq’s DM for clout.

“Everybody in the comments saying why i posted the dm first of all i didn’t post anything i sunt [sic] it to my team so of course they was gonna share as they should,” she wrote. “Second it’s Shaquille O’Neal that’s not somebody that dm me everyday 3rd stream making love & find peace within.
