According to reports, in 2021, Rudolph had an altercation with his then-girlfriend Dominique Jones, who allegedly texted another man to fight him.

On April 7, 2021, four men in an SUV pulled up outside Rudolph’s home to confront him.

A fistfight ensued and Rudolph grabbed his gun and opened fire in the direction of the fleeing SUV. Two men were shot and one was killed in the incident in Lake Park, Florida.

Rudolph, 27, was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder.

On Wednesday, a jury decided that Rudolph killed the man in self-defense.

Rudolph shed tears of joy after he was acquitted of murder. His agent, Zac Hiller of LAA Sports & Entertainment, told ESPN that his client was excited to get back to playing football.
