False alarm. The unidentified flying object that crash landed in a Las Vegas backyard has been identified.
NASA says the “UFO” is nothing more than a space rock. NASA’s planetary defense officer, Lindley Johnson, tells Motherboard that the glowing green orb seen streaking across the night sky was a small meteor, about 40 inches wide.
NASA’s critics say discrepancies like this one is the sort of thing that fuels conspiracy theories about NASA coverups.
Last month a Las Vegas family claimed a UFO crashed in their backyard.
A family member named “Angel” called 911 and described two alien beings that stood 10-feet tall with large shiny eyes. “It has big eyes and it’s looking at us,” Angel told a 911 dispatcher. “They’re 100% not human.”
The aliens were gone by the time police arrived.
As more media outlets gathered outside the small house demanding answers, the family closed ranks and stopped answering questions.
Angel finally published video footage of the incident on YouTube.
Some YouTube viewers say they see the aliens, but others said they saw nothing in the grainy video.
One commenter on a Manosphere massage board wrote: “I see illegal aliens but no aliens.”
