Larsa Pippen and her longtime boyfriend Marcus Jordan apparently tied the knot recently. Marcus, 32, referred to Larsa as his “wife” in a card she received with her birthday flowers. Larsa turned 49 on July 6.
The card read, “Happy Birthday To The Best Mom & Wife On The Planet! — From Marcus, Scotty Jr, Preston, Justin & Sophia.”
In a series of posts on Instagram, Marcus wrote: “Happy Birthday to my best friend & partner in crime @larsapippen.”
“LOVE YOU, BABY,” he added alongside a photo of Larsa posing in a yellow cutout gown.
Larsa also shared an image that shows her posing in a room full of mylar balloons from Marcus. “Love u baby,” she captioned the image.
Marcus is now stepfather to Larsa’s four children with Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen.
Sources say that’s why his father, NBA legend Michael Jordan, disowned him in a recent video on Backgrid.com.
If you recall, a BACKGRID photographer asked Michael if he approved of Marcus and Larsa’s relationship. At first Michael ignored the question, but he said “NO” when asked a second time.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Larsa and Marcus said we should ignore our lying ears and believe them when they say Michael approves of their marriage.
Marcus claims Larsa has “the Michael Jordan stamp of approval.”
“We spent Thanksgiving together last year, and my family loves her,” Marcus said. “They think she’s great. And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with whoever I’m dating.”
