Rapper Quavo probably should’ve chosen a different venue to debut his new single “Who Wit Me.” The Migos rapper debuted the song to a less than enthusiastic crowd at Truist Park in Cobb County, Georgia on Tuesday.
Quavo previewed his upcoming album, Rocket Power, at the Braves vs. Yankees game, which the Braves won 5-0.
The rapper performed on top of the Braves dugout ahead of the game. “Who Wit Me?” he asked repeatedly, but no one responded. The Braves’ social media team uploaded the sad performance to social media.
Earlier this month, Quavo announced he was delaying his upcoming album, Rocket Power, to “run some more tests before the rocket is ready to launch.”
Quavo also released a single off the album, titled “Turn Yo Clic Up” featuring Future Hendrix.
Rocket Power, which is named in honor of late Migos rapper Takeoff, will be Quavo’s first solo album since 2018’s Quavo Huncho and the first Migos solo project since Takeoff was killed last year in Houston.
Quavo has struggled to make a name for himself as a solo artist since Takeoff died and fellow Migos member Offset left the group.
Offset and Quavo reunited at the 2023 BET Awards to perform the group’s first No. 1 hit, “Bad N Boujee.”
Offset and Quavo nearly came to blows at the 2023 Grammy Awards in February.
