A TikTok influencer went viral for asking men to show her their bank balance before the first date.

Sofia Franklyn, a 30-year-old content creator from New York, made the statement in her podcast, “Sofia with an F”, on her @sofiafranklyn account.

In the podcast, she explained her strategy for weeding out broke men from high value men.

“I’ve asked the last three dudes I’ve dated for their bank account info on the first date,” she said, before adding that she “only wants to date a wealthy guy that has money.”

Sofia said she’s 30 and successful, but she isn’t getting any younger and she wants to have children. So she’s cutting to the point.

“I think, you know, I have a job, I’m very successful,” she told social media star Leo Skepi.

“So I think I have every f—ing right to be like, ‘Hi, are we on the same level or am I wasting my time?'”

In the full video shared on YouTube, Leo asked Sofia if she requests bank logins, and she responded, “yeah,” and showed him a screenshot of the bank account balance of one man she was interested in, according to DailyMail.com.

“I don’t think it’s weird to ask for that kind of information on a first date,” she added.

She stressed she wants to know the bank account details “especially if they’re under 5-ft-10.”

“I do that and, if they don’t show me, I’ll still go on like a second, third date but I need to know at a certain point. A lot of people think that’s just crazy of me to do. I don’t think it’s that crazy.

“Also, I’m 30 – I’m not really trying to just date and f**k around.”

Viewers were skeptical of Sofia’s true intentions. Some viewers called her a “gold digger” who is only interested in men for their money.

One commenter wrote, “Does love and genuine connection just not exist anymore?”
