Mark Zuckerberg has enlisted celebrities and athletes to voice his new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots for Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.

Zuckerberg envisions a world where people rely on Meta chatbots to control everything around the house.

“What if you had an AI that could help you with everything that you wanted to do?” the Facebook founder said at his Meta Connect event in Menlo Park, California, on Sept. 27.

“So I got to work with the Meta team building a whole bunch of AIs – and keeping with tradition, some of these are gonna be played by familiar people,” he added.

Rapper T-Pain is the new voice for Zuckerberg’s AI assistant, Jarvis. “Mark, your toast is ready,” says T-Pain. “Perfect as always Jarvis,” says Zuckerberg, who apparently can’t operate a toaster.

Other AI chatbots are voiced by Kendall Jenner, Snoop Dogg, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Naomi Osaka.

Zuckerberg also unveiled Ray-Ban Smart Glasses that can take photos, capture videos, and make phone calls. The Ray-Bans are available for pre-order online starting at $299.

Some TikTok users were disturbed by Zuckerberg’s new commercial.

“That was so cringe,” wrote one commenter.

Another person wrote, “Not gonna lie man, that commercial kinda weirds me out.”

A third person wrote, “This is the devil.”
