A Florida man threatened to shoot a CVS pharmacist after demanding “all bottles” of Viagra in the store.
Orlando police say Thomas Mues, 23, slipped the pharmacist a note demanding all bottles of Viagra “or I will shoot the closest person to me.”
The handwritten note read: “THIS IS A ARMED Robbery!!! Please cooperate, I don’t want to hurt you. You are not to alarm anybody or I will shoot the closest person to me! Please follow these directions or I will shoot the closest person to me!”
In addition to Viagra, the note demanded “all bottles” of Xanax, Adderall, liquid Codeine, Hydrocodone, and Oxycodone.
Mues instructed the pharmacists to place the note in the bag with the drugs and lay down on the floor.
He was walking out of the store when police arrived on the scene. Officers arrested Mues after a brief foot chase through the CVS parking lot.
He still had the bag of drugs and his note when he was caught.
Police said Mues admitted traveling to Orlando from Jacksonville to pull off the heist. He committed a similar robbery at a pharmacy in Central Florida.
Mues was charged with robbery, trafficking, and possession of narcotics.
